Grades on Home Access Center

You may have noticed there are no grades entered yet.  Our data clerk had to enter every class in the school into math and language arts classes by teacher manually.
Per third grade, the first week of school grades do not count as they were practice and a period of acclimation for the students.  J

UPDATE:  eSchools+ is still experiencing technical difficulties and will not be up until Wednesday, 8/31.  This is a school-wide issue.  Thank you for your flexibility!

Taxation without Representation = Success

Thank you very much for our Skittles donations!  We used them to illustrate the concept of "Taxation without Representation."  It was cut short for our Fun Run Pep Rally, but we will finish it on Monday.  The kids loved it, and were able to bring home a few skittles in addition to their "Welcome Back" goodie bags from my momma!

Here are our loyal taxpayers.  They are smiling because they don't know how much they have to pay!

Here is our demanding King sitting in his throne in England, demanding exorbitant taxes from all of his subjects in the colonies.

We also had our Fun Run Pep Rally today!  Fundraising was kicked off today and will go until Friday, September 9!  Please help your child fundraise!!  I got up in front of all of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes and teachers and danced to "I've got the power" on Wii for the kids as a part of the pep rally!  Woohoo!

SAT bonus word of the week:  irreverent - adjective - disrespectful
