• ELA:
• Study vocab and spelling words at your own pace
• Locating Persuasion:  find three types of persuasion around you
• 1 must be a person persuading another person (you to your mom, your siblings, etc.)
• 1 must be an advertisement (magazine, radio, TV)
• 3rd is your choice!  :)
• Math:
• HOTS POW - Tuesday task - due Friday
• Interpretting remainders page #3-9
• Keep practicing your facts and long division.  Testing Friday!
• SS
• Start studying - the kids have the study guide with answers
• for a bonus tonight, find the mayor, governor, president and VP!
• Family basket donation - please send in anything you can :)

*All month long is our food drive for the Atlanta Community Food Bank!  Please send in non-perishables at your leisure!

Valentines List:  We have 24 children in our home room.  I listed the math students and language arts students we receive in the event your child wants to make cards for those kids too!

In no way do I want to sound presumptuous, but please, do not get me anything for Valentine's Day.  I would appreciate a donation for the food drive instead!  It teaches the kids sacrifice and also works out especially since I don't eat sweets!!
