  • Review glossaries and complete part of the Study Guides:
    • Pink:  Complete numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13
    • Green:  complete numbers 2-10 
*some of the kids have taken a long time to draw the polygons - math homework should not take longer than 20 minutes.

Today we finalized all words in our glossaries and completed our attribute charts (for the second time).

Square

A quadrilateral with two sets of parallel lines, all sides make right angles and all sides are the same length.

Rhombus

Trapezoid

A quadrilateral with one set of parallel lines

Parallelogram

A quadrilateral with two sets of parallel lines

Rectangle

A quadrilateral with two sets of parallel lines, opposite sides are the same length, and all sides make right angles.    
“Funky” quadrilateral

A quadrilateral with no parallel lines.
