Read Around the World!!! - Heritage Night

Our Scholastic Book Fair will begin on December 10th this year.
For Heritage Night the book fair will be open until 6:00pm on Wednesday, December 12th. I will be sharing a book from my second family and favorite far away place, Kenya!!


Mimosa Book Drive:

The Mimosa Book Drive kicks off at the Book Fair on December 10th

Please save your gently used books for the students of Mimosa Elementary School. This year if you bring  a book to the library during book fair buying days, December 12th - 18th you will put your name in a drawing to win a free book worth $10 from the book fair.    Two names will be drawn for five days of the book fair.   If you bring in more than one book then your name can go in again, up to five times.

Get Active, Get Fit 
Get Active, Get Fit is complete November 24.  Please encourage your child to exercise everyday in creative ways!

Scholastic Contests:
The kids have two optional Scholastic contests:  The Paws for Reading picture and the Captain Underpants advice to deal with a bully positively - both are due in the next two weeks.  If your child wants an entry form, I have plenty!
